Introduction 

ILM Trust is well recognized for remarkable achievements in the field of education. The Trust started its educational pursuits 19 years back by establishing Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). ILM has been granted university charter in 2004 by the name University of Management and Technology (UMT). Attracting students from all over the country and abroad, UMT is now a bustling academic community with more than 4500 enrollments, whereas, over 9,000 students have already graduated from UMT, who are making their mark both in the national and multinational organizations. The Trust is now embarked upon a new journey by opening a chain of ILM Colleges in the main cities of Pakistan. The aim is to set high academic standards by using innovative teaching techniques.

Lahore is the capital of Punjab province and second largest city of Pakistan. It is historical center with rich cultural roots. It is remains an economic, political and educational hub for centuries. Lahore successively served as a regional capital of the empires of the Shahi kingdoms in the 11th century, the Ghaznavids in the 12th century, the Ghurid State in the 12th and 13th centuries and the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. From 1802 to 1849, Lahore served as the capital city of the Sikh Empire. In the mid 19th and early 20th century, Lahore was the capital of the Punjab region under the British Raj. The traditional capital of Punjab for a thousand years, Lahore was the cultural center of the northern Indian subcontinent which extends from the eastern banks of the Indus River to New Delhi. Mughal structures such as the Badshahi Masjid, the Lahore Fort, Shalimar Gardens, and the mausoleum of Jehangir and Nur Jehan are tourist attractions. Lahore Zoo, Lahore High Court, the General Post Office , Lahore Museum and University of Punjab are important locations. Lahore is referred to as the cultural heart of Pakistan as it hosts most of the arts, cuisine, festivals, film-making, music, gardening and intelligentsia of the country.Known for its affiliation with poets and artists, it has the largest number of educational institutions in Pakistan and some of the finest gardens on the continent. Lahore has always been a center for publications, where 80 percent of Pakistan's books are published and remains the foremost center of literary,educational and cultural activity in Pakistan. It is also an important religious center as it is home to hundreds of temples, mosques, and shrines like Data Durbar Complex. Academy Road is the one of the main streams of Lahore. The Civil Services Academy is the main icon of the area. The Bab-e-Pakistan is a national monument also situated nearby, Walton Road. After independence in 1947, this was the site of one of the major refugee camps. ILM College is a valuable addition in the area with spacious building, experienced and competent faculty, latest computer and science labs and provides integrated career oriented education.
